Meet Hunki and His Lexus IS Drift Missile
If you don’t know the name Frank “Hunki” Hunkeler, let me introduce you. This Swedish hoon is one of the best drifters on the planet, and he would easily rival any of your local favorites. To give you just a taste of what this guy can do, check out the video below in which he takes his competition Lexus IS and creates his own mini Gymkhana video, complete with odd stunts involving courageous people and large pieces of earth-moving equipment.
With his 750 horsepower D1-prepped Japanese drift missile, Hunki makes quick work of getting the IS sideways and blowing smoke. Watching the IS dance and turn like this is amazing to watch, I just wish you could hear it. The car is shown belching fire from its exhaust and making its tires howl in pain, but the entire video is full of dramatic music instead of the sounds of mechanical carnage and gasoline combustion.
It is still incredible to watch, it just doesn’t sound as nice as you might hope. Still, hit play and enjoy.
