Peek Into This Beautiful Lexus Design Pavilion, Because #Art

It only makes sense to pair the old-school traditional class of horse racing with the future-class of luxury automobiles. So Lexus recently brought the two together through art, a continuous effort from the Japanese manufacturer, at the Melbourne Cup Carnival in Flemington, Melbourne, Australia.

The exhibit was exclusively tucked away on the racecourse at the “premium marquee enclosure” called The Birdcage. The unique temporary building was built in collaboration with Joost Bakker, a sustainable design expert. It features thousands of feet of recycled wire to make it look like… wait for it… a bird’s nest!

It’s three stories high and features plenty of artistic endeavors, but the one you probably care about is Lexus’ latest rendition of the RX made out of polystyrene foam, crafted by a 5-Axis machine. At the rear, the car tapers off into a mirror. Because #art.

Lexus, you so fancy.
