1992 Lexus SC 300

Owned for over a decade, seller decides his ’92 SC 300 drift missile is worth more in pieces than as a complete shred machine.

Do you know what you’ll find on the Club Lexus Marketplace? All sorts of things! Parts, accessories, memorabilia, projects, complete rides, if it’s related to Lexus, our vendors and forum members will have it.

For example, we happened upon this 1992 SC 300 on the marketplace the other day, a drift missile ready to disperse itself into everyone’s cars. What do we mean? Let the seller himself explain.

Lexus 1JZ-GTE

“I’ve owned this car for over 10 years,” writes drewdizzle. “I bought a clean daily and it turned into a track beast. This has slowly transformed into the car it is today. Unfortunately, the sum of its parts are worth more than the whole. so I am parting it out.”

Koyo Radiator

The seller says he’s spent $20,000 in turning the SC 300 into the shred machine it is now. The 1JZ-GTE non-VVTi V8 received a turbo and a gold coil pack cover, kept cool by the pair of electric fans and the big radiator up front.

Work Emotion XD-9

The list of goodies continues for the SC 300. The corners are shod in Work Emotion XD-9 wheels, each wrapped in Achilles tires for maximum drift action. There’s also a new wiring system with a toggle-switch box for handling all of the functions of the car, a front-angle kit for making those turns, and a Greddy FMIC intercooler.

Greddy FMIC

The California-based seller has a list of the parts he’s selling, ranging from $280 to $3,200. The 1JZ-GTE is already spoken for as of this writing, but he still has lots of other parts available. The aforementioned wheels and tires, for example, include five 18×10-inch wheels, two new Achilles 123S tires, and one bent 18×10-inch wheel. He has plenty more where that came from, and will list them when he has time.
