SoCal Supras Unite at ‘Supra Sunday’ Meet
El Monte’s Longo Lexus hosts super-cool ‘Supra Sunday’ to celebrate Supras of all generations.
It’s not every day that we see such an enormous concentration of Supras in one place. So when we found out about ‘Supra Sunday’ a couple of months back, we knew we did not want to miss out.
The event was a massive gathering of Toyota Supra models of all ages. El Monte, California-based Longo Lexus‘ front lot was overflowed by a strong turnout of all different kinds of Supras. Stock, modified, or track-ready, there was something for every kind of Supra lover at the event.
A host of aftermarket suppliers and sponsors were present as well. The Remark-sponsored Supra was a head-turning feature of the event. The ultra-aggressive track machine had its own crowd all through the morning.
If the loud aftermarket tailpipes didn’t add enough of a soundtrack, eclectic music from nearby amps kept a steady pulse and brought energy to everyone’s morning. The Longo Lexus and Toyota dealership provided the perfect setting for this awesome gathering.
The event’s organizers made it a point to showcase Supras, especially the MKV models. But they did not turn away other Toyota products. They invited in Scion, Lexus, as well as other Toyota models as well. Additionally, owners of non-Toyota brands were welcomed with open arms, to enjoy this Supra-centric get-together.
