Stunning Low-Mile Lexus LFA Listed With Equally Stunning Million Dollar Price Tag

2012 Lexus LFA

This beautiful Lexus LFA has it all, but it remains to be seen if someone is willing to pony up huge money to bring it home.

While it went largely unappreciated for quite a few years, the Lexus LFA has recently landed on everyone’s most beloved supercars list, strangely enough. This could be largely attributed to the fact that V10-powered supercars don’t exactly grow on trees anymore, and will very likely go extinct altogether in the next few years. Thus, the fact that the Lexus LFA was expensive to begin with thanks to its $375k MSRP no longer really matters, because folks have been selling them for far more than that. However, this particular example up for grabs at GVE London in the UK has been listed with a rather ambitious asking price – even for one of the hottest supercars on the market.

With just 7,159 original miles, this LFA is in truly stellar condition, but the real question is – is it worth the asking price of £1,020,000, or $1.23 million dollars? That’s a substantial amount of money for any car, even a special example that’s one of just 500 produced, and more than most LFAs we’ve come across, save for extremely special ones like the Nurburgring Edition.

This listing could signal that LFA prices are going to reach even higher, or it could be just an ambitious ask that no seller will bite on – there’s an entire spectrum of outcomes here, and that’s what makes this listing so fascinating. Eager buyers flush with cash have been scooping up the last of the great supercars over the past couple of years as they realize that this is a dying breed, so anything’s possible, we suppose.

In the meantime, there’s no denying that the Lexus LFA is one of the all-time greats. Aside from its styling – which has held up nicely over the past decade-plus – it’s still an exotic machine with a properly over-the-top cabin and, most importantly – one of the greatest engines ever produced. The car’s naturally-aspirated 4.8-liter V10 is a thing of lore, churning out 552 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque – not earth-shattering numbers, but you’ll never get tired of revving it to 9,000 rpm, and that’s precisely why people love it so much.
