On its website, Lexus states the RC F was “developed to satisfy the most demanding driving enthusiasts.” Apparently, they didn’t know who Chris Harris is when they went to the engineering lab and test track—or did they?
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the two coupes compared—but that doesn’t make this clip any less entertaining. Compared to the Lexus, the BMW looks like a real handful, as it seem like it spends half its time on screen pitched completely sideways.
Breaking news, it’s not. But the lads at Car Throttle have just posted a new video starring the RC F, and it features a nice respectable burnout, plenty of 5.0L V8 engine noise, a brief cameo by a certain V10 supercar, and lots of glamour shots of the new Lexus sports coupe. It’s worth watching.
There’s nothing in this Top Gear video which qualifies as breaking news—or really anything we haven’t heard before. What there are? Plenty of good shots of former F1 pilot and two-time 24 Hour of Le Mans winner Alex Wurz hurling the RC F through bends sideways.
Lexus hasn’t exactly been hiding the RC F GT3 Concept, and while pictures are always cool, getting to see the RC line’s weapons-grade cousin stretch its legs at Fuji Speedway is an order of magnitude better.
