Guam-based Lexus dealer offering $1,000 golden tickets and $50 charitable donations through August.

Who doesn’t love a good test drive? Whether you’re seriously considering buying a car or just want some wheel time in the latest Lexus machinery, they’re good times for all. Well, unless you get one of those stingy salesmen who doesn’t enjoy thrill rides, that is. But most of the time, test drives only benefit you, the driver.

But if you happen to live on the U.S. island territory of Guam, test driving a new Lexus can also benefit a very important cause: the American Red Cross. That’s because local Lexus dealer Atkins Kroll is running a couple of nice offers through the month of August.

The first offer revolves around the dealer’s goal of donating $5,000 to the Red Cross by the end of the month. All you have to do is test drive any Lexus on the lot, and Atkins Kroll will donate $50. Talk about an easy and painless way to help out a very worthwhile cause. Heck, you don’t even have to get stuck with a needle.

It’s also worth mentioning that Atkins Kroll is offering prospective shoppers a “golden ticket” with every August test drive. Each ticket is worth $1,000 toward the purchase of any Lexus. Better still, it enters you in a drawing for a $5,000 voucher that takes place on August 31st. That’s a pretty nice discount if you ask us.

So if you needed another reason to test drive a new Lexus, here’s two good ones. You get to have a little fun and score a big discount while also helping an important charity. And hey, you might even get to see your sales guy soil his pants. And if that isn’t worth a trip to your local dealer, we don’t know what is.
