Throwback Thursday: S.I. Swimsuit Model Hailey Clauson Gets Cozy on a Lexus RX

Oftentimes, Throwback Thursdays will hearken back to far more nostalgic times than last February, but we figured we’d make an exception for the stunning, gorgeous, perfectly sculpted… 2016 Lexus RX.

Of course, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl Hailey Clauson is pretty stunning in her own right, so when you pair the two of them together, you can understand why we chose not to throw too far back.

The ad campaign correlated with the launch of the all-new 2016 RX, as well as the launch of the 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. And judging by the success of the original luxury SUV’s sales, it appears to have worked. Okay, perhaps the RX sells itself at this point, but it doesn’t hurt to have something eye-catching reminding folks of the new model. And what could be more eye-catching than a swimsuit model?

Of course, Lexus is no stranger to hiring S.I. swimsuit models to help sell the goods. And we’re no stranger to featuring a Lexus-peddling swimsuit model in a Throwback Thursday feature either.
