However, there’s another figure to consider: the absolute fastest your Lexus can go if you had a mile-long runway to punch it. The following 10 Lexus models have what it takes to blow you away, leaving you behind in the rear view.
No. 10: SC300 – 146 MPH
A couple of years after the ES and LS laid the foundation for Lexus, the SC arrived to bring the coupe into the pursuit of perfection. The SC300 debuted in July 1992, packing a 3.0-liter 2JZ-GE inline-six good for 225 horsepower to the rear through a five-speed manual. The coupe delivered on the promise of performance, too, with a top speed of 146 mph; it’s just 10 mph faster than the 2021 LS 500 and its twin-turbo V6.
