Better handling
As a partner to all those new weight-saving suspension pieces and stiffer chassis components, the new IS will have much-improved handling performance. Alexd3498 was one of the first to jump it with some excitement.

A lot of you guys were so excited about this aspect, that you lamented the lack of hard details on the suspension in the reveal. One of our moderators, chrispy, chimed in with this:
I’m surprised they barely talked about the chassis and suspension upgrades. It was the whole point of the showing off the test track they built in Japan to develop this car. The chassis is much stiffer and the track widths were increased. The suspension arms were changed to aluminum to save weight. This is basically what was done to the GSF/RCF to get such a heavy chassis to handle so well.
