Top 5 Lexus Cars of the 2020s

As much as I wanted to, I couldn’t put the LC 500 at the top of this list. The LC is a stunning car, a worthy flagship vehicle for Lexus. Almost weekly, I look at used ones online and wonder how much blood plasma I need to sell to afford a $1,000 monthly payment. I’ve already said everything I can about this magnificent car. At the risk of rehashing it, I truly believe it’s the last great naturally aspirated GT car and one of the all-time greats.

So why isn’t it number one on the list? Simple. In 2022, when every other brand is switching to smaller displacement turbocharged engines, Lexus got the wild hair to take the V8 out of the LC 500 and shove it in a small sedan. And that deserves to be celebrated.
