3. Lexus LF-FC Fuel Cell

Top 5 Lexus Cars Of The Future

The Lexus LC-FC debuted at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. At the time, Lexus hailed it as “the unveiling of a truly visionary new luxury sedan.” The LC-FC never came to fruition, but it did highlight Lexus’ updated design language.  The grille is more pronounced but blends in well with the LC-FC’s styling. The overall look is more sculpted with distinctive character lines. Overall, it hints at the look of the current LS sedan.

The FC in the LC-FC’s name stands for “fuel cell,” which powers the vehicle. Lexus is supposedly all-in on EVs, but Toyota is hedging its bets by experimenting with fuel cells and other mixes of hybrid technology. So it’s possible we could still see something like this in the near future.
