Only six loyal customers will get the chance to own the exclusive GR Supra GT4 ’50 Edition’. It’s like Willy Wonka for Supra fans.

Toyota Supra is stirring up a lot of excitement these days. The sports car recently made a brief albeit exhilarating appearance in the new GR86 car commercial. The Japanese automaker will soon also introduce a mid-cycle facelift of the Toyota GR Supra nameplate. This particular variant will get a six-speed manual gearbox and will probably debut in the coming months. For now, Toyota is treating its European fans with the ultra-exclusive GR Supra GT4 ’50 Edition’.

The new model is a special version of the GT4 track car, and Gazoo Racing put together this new edition. The cars will only be available to an exclusive list of loyal customers. Toyota will only produce six examples of the all-new GR Supra GT4 ’50 Edition’. Toyota first introduced the GR Supra GT4 three years ago. The automaker reports that it has sold around 50 units of the sports car ever since the nameplate’s global debut.

GR Supra GT4 '50 Edition'

The 2022 Toyota GR Supra GT4 ’50 Edition’ gets a $193,250 or €175000 (based on current exchange rates) price tag.

The 50 Edition moniker is a nod to the GT4 sales milestone that Toyota managed to achieve. This makes the new sports car almost four times as expensive as the road-going version, which retails for $53,980 (€48,900) in some European markets. The car sports a beautiful Gazoo Racing specific red paint job, which also flaunts contrasting 50 Edition gold decals that adorn the front fenders and the roof of the new model.

We find GT4 badging on the iDrive controller and driver seat, and a carbon fiber footrest and passenger seat are also part of the ensemble. Lastly, Toyota also offers the GT4 50 Edition with a special indoor car cover for no additional cost. Only 2 of these six GT4 50 Editions will make their way to North America.

Under the hood of this sports car, we find the same 3-liter six-cylinder motor that propels the standard GR Supra GT4. The powerplant churns out 430 HP of maximum power and hooks up to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Pirelli P Zero racing tires envelop the 18-inch OZ wheels that the car rides on.
