How-To Tuesday: Aligning Your Lexus’s Tires
How many times have you taken your car into the shop to get the tires aligned? Probably too many to count. But I’ll bet you can easily recall how many times you felt personally satisfied after doing so. Zero satisfaction, right?
But that’s what comes from paying someone else to do a job that you can do yourself. So why not just handle it on your own? Because you don’t know how? Well, sorry, but thanks to today’s How-To Tuesday article, that excuse just won’t fly anymore.
Today’s How-To article walks you through the very simple task of aligning your Lexus’s tires. After years of allowing someone else to take care of it, tire alignment may seem like a daunting task, but it’s pretty straightforward, and if you already have the necessary tools, it won’t cost you a dime.
As far as tools go, you’ll need a Jack and four jack stands, a tape measure, some penetrating lube, 14mm, 17mm, and 21mm sockets and ratchets, and some pink contractor’s string. Sorry, tough guys, it has to be pink.
Another big thing is to make sure that your parked on a level surface before you go about aligning your tires. Otherwise, they’ll likely be the exact opposite of aligned.
After that, you just follow the four easy steps laid out in the article, and you’ll be driving straight in no time!
