Just because fuel prices don’t hurt as much these days, that’s no reason to go wasting the stuff. That’s why today’s How-To Tuesday article focuses on ways to maximize your miles per gallon.

The main gist of the article, aside from the helpful tips within, is that the maintenance of your Lexus can directly contribute to its fuel efficiency. And your personal driving style also has either a positive or negative effect. Which means that if you don’t follow this article’s advice, you aren’t allowing your Lexus to reach its full potential. And you are stifling great art.

A lot of these tips you’ll likely know, time-honored as they are. But a refresher course is always a good idea. And there’s also some stuff you might not have thought about. Like a driver feedback device, which can help improveĀ gas mileage by roughly 10 percent.

While the article specifically deals with the Lexus IS, ES, GS, and RX models between 2005 and 2013, the advice is pretty much universal. So heed it, and start maximizing not just your miles per gallon, but also your beautiful Lexus baby. Doesn’t she deserve to be treated right?
