How-To Tuesday: Personalizing Your Startup Screen Image
Why would you have a boring, old startup image on your Lexus when you could freely and easily have a photo that totally personalizes your ride?
If it’s because you don’t know how to change that image yourself, then we’re sorry, because, thanks to this week’s How-To Tuesday article, that excuse is no longer valid.
This week’s How-To article (and the corresponding video below) takes you through the simple five steps along the road to startup screen glory. And best of all, if you’ve already got a USB stick, this won’t cost you a dime. In fact, the only other material you’ll need is a photo (less than 10MB), and you can find plenty of those for free on the Club Lexus forums.
After you’ve got the desired photo, simply set up the file directory, paying careful attention to the naming conventions laid out in the article. Then you just hook the USB stick up to the USB port in your Lexus, place the desired file in the image directory, set up the system, copy and set the image, and select your options of choice.
And voila, your Lexus just got a whole lot more personalized. Sounds easy, right? So what exactly are you waiting for?
