Lexus SC300

Tastefully modified and in excellent condition, this classic Lexus SC would make the perfect addition to someone’s garage.

Among all the models Lexus has produced over the years, the first-gen SC remains a favorite here at Club Lexus. The sporty, two-door luxury coupe is a looker, a performer, and a comfy cruiser. It’s quite literally a Lexus version of the venerable Toyota Supra, albeit without the insane price tags those legendary Japanese cars carry. But here in the Lexus enthusiast circle, we celebrate the SC all the same.

And you don’t have to look hard to find very nice SC examples at affordable prices. Heck, here in the Club Lexus Marketplace, there are several right now. Including this incredibly clean 1992 SC300 that’s currently up for grabs. And aside from the stellar condition the car is in, there’s a lot to like here. Beginning with the fact that it’s a factory hardtop and manual transmission car.

The current owner has also made a host of tasteful modifications to the car that make it even more appealing. They start on the outside, where you’ll find more modern 1997+ panels on the sides and rear. The front lip is from an SC400, and a set of Stance coilovers has this Lexus sitting just right. A set of ’95 taillights and attractive 19″ Varrstoen ES5 wheels round out a very tasty package.

The suspension of this SC features a host of upgrades, including tie rod ends, sway bars, and sway bar links. And even the inside wasn’t left untouched. There you’ll find a set of MKIV Supra seats, Alpine speakers, and a 3-spoke steering wheel. It all adds up to one very attractive, sporty, and luxurious cruiser. And for a relatively small outlay of cash, it could be in your garage next!
