Lexus RCF Hunts Aston Martin Vantage on the Open Road
Nothing like a quick open-road race between a Lexus RCF and an Aston Martin Vantage GT Coupe at speeds of up to 130 mph to blow off some of those mid-week blues.
Yep, another beautiful day in “Mexico.”
The only problem is that while we certainly would rather be wheeling the RCF ourselves south of the American border, we’ll have to settle on watching this run over and over via the YouTube clip below.
The video was shared in a Club Lexus forum thread here by RCF500, who says his best 1/4 mile run in his RCF so far was a 12.5 @ 113 MPH, 1100 ft. above sea level with 20’s, no performance package, as highlighted in the second video below.
No doubt, RCF500 will be cracking into that 12.5 zone pretty soon. We certainly will be keeping tabs on the progress.
