Deja Cruise: Lexus RC F vs BMW M4 Track Battle
In today’s news we have a totally new, totally original, groundbreaking car comparison. It’s the BMW M4 vs the Lexus RC F.
What the hell do you mean you’ve already seen/read that? No you haven’t, because in this totally unique review, an orange RC F is being compared against a yellow M4, not a blue or gray one.
Jokes aside, the Auto Express video below is another good one that focuses almost purely on raw track performance, rather than throwing in the real world, daily driver stuff that only seems to add unnecessary levels of complexity. These are performance coupes, so the video rightly focuses on their performance.
Auto Express starts with the Lexus, and after a few minutes of warming up the rubber and having a bit of sideways fun, the car gets thrown in for a legit hot lap. Final time comes in at 1:14.0.
Then comes the yellow (remember that kinda makes this different) M4 to play on the track and set a fast lap time. Since there have already been a few of these, I will go ahead a let you in on the time; 1:10.7. Yeah, it was kinda of a blow out. Blame it on the BMW’s extra torque and lower weight, or the RC F’s softer suspension, but either way the victory here was clear.
Regardless, the RC F is still an amazing machine, if you are tired of the same-old, same-old from Bavaria, it makes a nice alternative with a wicked style and a hellacious exhaust note. Just don’t race any M4s.
