Artist Turns RC F Into Art in 30 Seconds

Lexus has been running the Design Disrupted program for a couple years now, where each year at major fashion week shows, different artists from fashion, performance, film, and design are highlighted in unique ways. This year, to celebrate New York Fashion Week, Lexus gave Shantell Martin a brand new RC F with which to create her mark, literally.

Using a black Sharpie marker, Martin laced the white paint with what at first looks like a bunch of squiggles, phrases, and random eyes, but eventually it all comes together as a complete piece. Like all art, some people love it, others think anybody could do it. Either way, it’s an interesting result.

Watch the sped-up process in the 30-second timelapse below and let us know your critique.
