Watch Lexus Flog New GS F Around Fuji Speedway
Are you one of those people who see the spec sheet for the Lexus GS F and think that it’s not going to have high performance chops? Well, Lexus has a video for you. Check out the company’s footage of them taking the new GS F to Fuji Speedway and giving it a good flogging!
As many of you are aware, the GS F has the same 5.0L V8 that lives inside the RC F, making 467 horsepower. That’s good for a sprint to 60 miles-per-hour in approximately 4.2 seconds. This Lexus sedan is certainly no slouch.
Also, unlike other high performance sedans these days, the GS F’s engine is a high-revving, naturally aspirated V8. That means when you get on it it sounds absolutely epic!
There’s a lot of that epic noise in this video as the car laps Fuji. It’s raining, which only helps the GS F get tail happy and do some pretty cool drifts for the camera.
Lexus is trying to show that the GS F has the same sporty lineage as other F models, including the RC F and the LFA. To help bring home that point, the GS F joins both a RC F and the amazing LFA at the end of the video.
I’m not sure about you, but I’m really looking forward to driving this new F performance Lexus!
