Watch This “LF-LC” Dragster Run 6.05 in the 1/4 Mile

Lexus LF CF Concept

Well that escalated quickly. The rumor just dropped that the concept LF-LC by Lexus will be making production, and already a group of drag racers have it. Sort of.
Meet the “Zoian,” a dragster that uses a Toyota sourced 2JZ engine that’s able to run the quarter mile in just 6.05 seconds at a speed of 235mph. Woof.
Last year, the Zoian sported a Camry body, but this year the team behind the car wanted to class up the joint a bit–so they threw on an LF-LC body. And doesn’t she just look killer flying down the track in the two videos below, posted by TheRacingVids?
The turbo spooling up sounds like someone is squeezing a chipmunk on acid. It’s wonderful.
