Lexus SC Tragedy Leads to Massive Triumph

Some people never quite recover from tragedy. But when this Club Lexus member wrecked his beloved Lexus SC, he brought it back better than ever!

Bad things inevitably happen to all of us at some point in life. What separates us is how we handle those unfortunate events. Some simply give up or never fully recover, while others forge ahead undeterred. For Club Lexus member chnk, failure was never an option. His love for the Lexus SC never wavered, even after a tragic accident took his beloved SC from him. So he did what any die hard Lexus lover would do. He found another one to build, and he documented the whole thing right here in the forums!

“I’m a very long time SC owner and simply just love these cars to death. I’ve owned four SCs to date, and my most recent SC300 is now totaled due to an accident. I had owned the car for over 4 years and didn’t get a chance to document any of the build on a forum other than Facebook.

With the fall of Lexi I got a chance to start anew in a different shell. The shell has no drivetrain and a pretty torn interior. Everything from my old shell will be stripped and transferred into the new car and I plan on documenting it for future Club Lexus members to follow.”
