You’ll Definitely Know This Is TOM’S NX
Personalizing your car is great. It’s part of the reason car’s are great, because your car is an expression of you. And you’re great. Happy Friday.
But there is a point where things get too personal, like when you create your own personalized badge and throw it up on your grille, wheels, starter button, steering wheel, and side steps.
Fortunately, that’s not what happened with the NX 200t in the video below. Well, the badges happened, but, to my surprise, it turns out that Tom is not actually a guy who really loves his name, but rather TOM’S is a Toyota/Lexus supported racing team that’s been around since 1974, aka Tachi Oiwa Motor Sports. My bad.
You’ll have to forgive me, I’m not a die hard racing fan. Although I do love those Danica Patrick commercials.
Now that I’m on board with TOM’S and not making fun of Tom, I’m totally on board with this modded out NX too, which features a slick front spoiler, rear under spoiler, side steps, exhaust system barrel, and TM-05 wheels. Although perhaps it could do without a TOM’S badge or two.
I’m also on board with the video below. The sporty CUV stands out beautifully against the black and white palette, which is enhanced by cool little flashes of color and a thumping soundtrack. Thumbs up all the way around, as far as I’m concerned.
