Default update on my car

Edit: More pics on page 2

Picking up the car from the body shop tomorrow, but here are just some pics of it now. I will get more up tomorrow. The whole car was repainted black. Can't decide if I should put the emblems back on.

Also found out that the wheel has broken the inner fender liner on the driver side and is ripping at the harness. it has actually cut one of the wires. So i gotta do someting about that now. But I don't want to raise the car.

I'm getting a 1JZ within the next couple of weeks, but I can't find a shop that I can trust to do the swap. I might e
nd up doing it myself with some friends.

looks awsome, what suspension setup do you have? as for the emblems i think at least just the rear "L" and "lexus" ones, forget the scX00.

Remove the fender, reroute the harnesses to go over the top of the fenderwell, zip ties, hammer out the metal edges inside the fenderwell, replace fender.

In a few hours.. problem solved... my car was lower than yours =)

If for some reason you plan on bringing your car to socal check out www.srmotorcars.com theyve done several swaps and dont charge an arm and a leg like most of the other shops.

oh yeah.. keep the emblems off.

do i have to lengthen the harness or cut it? Or do i just pull it over the top of the fender wheel.

thanks.

harness is long enough. if you want to be super duper clean, cut a notch in the wheelwell to route the harness from the inside the fender to the top of the wheelwell, then another notch to route the harness back into the engine bay. for sure you gotta remove the plastic crap holding the harness together tho.

the car was in an accident about 3 weeks ago and it was about $1500 to fix the car and an extra $500 to repaint the whole car.
