Default Update! New wheels and tires L-Sportline Drop

Bought these wheels and tires from Discount Tires for $1280 shipped 18x8 45 offset front 18x9 35 offset for rear. The tires are Falken zeis512. Ended up with about a 2.5 inch lip in the rear. Sorry about the qulity of the pics. They were taken with my camera phone this morning. I'll post more from my digital camera after I have the car cleaned. Let me know what you think.

I agree that 19's look great but my wallet wouldn't permit 19" tires prices. I'm satisfied with the 18's. Thanks for the comments.

Thumbs up

Nice wheels, just set the stance now. I makes a world of difference IMO.

Cheers for the new shoes!

Those pics look a lot better. Hameed is runnin 18's dropped, and his rims look like 19's. When you drop it, it will look bigger

the new wheels look great, and I agree, once your springs are installed, and the car is dropped a little, it'll look a lot more agressive and sporty. Congrats on the purchase

There's a group buy on springs in the vendor's classified.

Found this thread when looking in the member classifieds. Performance Peddler.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=196467

Decided to give them a shot. Came out pretty cheap.

Strut Mounts KYBSM5205 SM5205 (2) $40.61 $81.22
Front KYB341266 341266 qty(2) $65.09 > $130.18
Rear KYB341267 341267 qty(2) $72.58 > $145.16

$356.56 free shipping. I thought it was a good deal.

Default L-Sportline springs and KYB GR-2 installed!

I've done a lot of things with the car lately timing belt service, ball joints, spark plugs, L-sportline springs, kyb gr-2 struts, kyb strut mounts, led lights in high beam (courtesy lights), K&N drop-in, and seafoam treatment. There is a night and day different in the way this car drives! I knew I wanted this car for a reason!

Check out the drop...

Sorry for the dirty car. It was raining when I picked the car up from the shop this evening.
