I second that. No holes on the roof. Cut the wiring and double sided tape will do. I'll wait 'til someone sells it here in US though. I'm sure LED tail lights/Shark fin and all the good stuff will come in later...

Wait a second... are you people actually admitting that you're going to put this thing on the roof, knowing full well that it doesn't do ANYTHING? And you're actually going to pay money for it?
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

And while not applicable here, it is possible to design an antenna that doesn't need to be physically connected to its antenna wire, by using capacitive coupling. Glass mount antennas, such as those used for permanantly installed cell phones, work that way. You can even run a powered antenna without physically connecting any wires, by sending power through an inductive coupling, and RF through a capacitive coupling. I'm pretty sure this won't work though sheet metal though.

I remember someone posted how the satellite radio comapanys were going to focus more on producing them in factory instead of in dealer. Im going to wait till mabey next years model comes and then if they have them ask the dealer how much it would be for the install so its done right and theirs no warranty issues. Just my .02
