with this race pipe installed, will it pass inspection? Also, how much power can you expect from this new race pipe? thanks

It depends on what your state inspects. If they do a visual and check for all 3 cats then it won't pass because you are removing the 3rd cat. Since the O2 sensor is still there and there isn't any sensor on the 3rd cat your OBD won't know the diff.

So for tests where they just plug into OBD then you will pass if they don't do a visual.

So no the pipe isn't legal but it would be easy to install and replace for inspections. To find out more go to www.xerd.com or the other is300 board and search for dyno reports.
