Default FS: Rare IS300 Torsen T-2 LSD mechanism

Prefer Southern Ca pick-up but will ship if necessary.

Serious inquiries only.

I have for sale a Torsen LSD that just arrived form Osaka, Japan and it only has 14KM on it. This is factory Toyota and is just the LSD mechanism, no pumpkin, no gears. This LSD can be dropped into your existing pumpkin for either MT or AT. A brand new is300 pumpkin with gears and Torsen LSD is $4200 from dealer. I dont even think you can buy this Torsen LSD assembled by itself in the U.S.

Obviously if you are serious about purchasing this unit, I don't have to explain the driving benefits of an LSD install.

$1000 FIRM + shipping. Cash or Paypal with bank transfer only.

PM or send email to slowdiver67@yahoo.com

I have received some questions regarding the LSD and if it will fit U.S. spec IS300s.

I spoke to Toyoda-Koki Automotive Torsen North America this morning, gave them the part # and they were 99% sure it would fit U.S. IS300s.

For any reason it does NOT fit, I will fully refund the buyer and also pay the buyer $100 towards your labor cost.

I am shocked that this unit has lasted this long for sale. For those of you still driving with a peg-leg (open differential), you have no idea what you are missing.

I also called my local Lexus dealer to ask if you could just buy the IS300 LSD mechanism brand new in the U.S. by itself, no gears, no pumpkin. His response was that you could buy all of the parts separately and have it assembled for around $3000 total. Other than that, you can buy the entire pumpkin with gears brand new or look for the pumpkin at a junkyard.

Not to bash you but I have a peg leg diff and when and if I do get a lsd I plan on a Kaaz or TRD. both of those are around $850 new and a pumpkin from a junkyard cost around 500 and installation would be much less with that. I don't know the difference in the T-2 but there are more options for significantly less. just my .02 cents

jackass....

before you post here....maybe you should take a math lesson because your post makes no sense. $1350 + install > $1000.

and your right, you don't know the difference in the T-2.

Default your price is too high

ok trd lsd 850 plus install
kaaz lsd 850 plus install
entire pumpkin with stock lsd 500

why would I need 2 pumpkins to install a T-2 lsd it would be the same as the trd or kaaz.

better explanation, from a jackass, to a seller whose prices are too high. good luck
