FS: Winter wheelset + snow tires for IS300
Looking for $450 + shipping + packing (if necessary to ship and pack). That is about half price based on TireRack's prices and is a bargain. I turned my IS300 in this spring when the lease was up.
Bought as a TireRack package last year. Barely used -- about 2 weeks (we had almost no snow in the DC area).
17" Sport Edition D5 silver painted 7-spoke rims
Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50's
Front - 215/45-17
Rear - 225/45-17
I would prefer local pickup in the Washington, DC metro area (VA/MD/DC).
Based on my experience, the IS300 is terrible in the snow with stock tires. With this setup, it becomes 'passable'. I had no problems driving up hills and through unplowed neighborhoods in 3-6" of snow. Also significantly improves braking and handling. These tires make a major difference in the snow. Don't get caught at work (or at home) when the white stuff starts falling!
