FS: Supra brake calipers for IS300 fitment
This is closed. Calipers put on ebay. Thanks.
I have a set of Supra TT brake calipers for an IS300 fitment. Great 4 pot upgrade. Too make a long story short, I bought a set of used Tom's brake calipers on Ebay awhile ago thinking it would fit my SC300. Well it didn't since it came off an IS300. The back half caliper bolts are off 3/8 inche or something. So I had to buy new Supra brake calipers from the dealer, then took the back half of the caliper off those and mate it with the Tomz top half(I already stripped and powercoated it). Tomz brake calipers for the IS are just stock OEM Supra TT brake calipers with there powercoat and logo on it. The caliper set is rebuilt with fresh seals so it's ready to go. The top half is the one that says Supra on it and in dark gun metal. This is a great 4 pot upgrade and believe me you'll feel the difference compared to OEM. You don't have to pay top dollar for other upgraded brake kits.
If you have any questions hit me up. Thanks!
Notice the caliper bolt hole is offset. This is for an IS300. Regular Supra or SC300 caliper holes are right in the middle.

If that rebuilt set is made to fit an IS300 that's a good deal. The rebuild kits are usually for Supra or SC.
I'm selling my calipers for $270 a piece. So $540 + shipping. I just called the Dealer and it's $340 a caliper special order and they only fit Supra or SC. I'm not in a rush to sell and I'm just trying to even out what I paid at the dealer awhile ago. Thanks!

I thoughts these didn't need the brackets? Why is he talking about he FIGS brackets? So you took the back half off for your Soarer? and then put some other back half on these ones? Or? Bit confused still, but I am interested.

You don't need brackets for this set. Tomz ended up somehow getting a hold of the Supra back half calipers, and drilling the correct hole offset for the IS300 as shown in the pic. Notice it's not center. The Supra and SC's bolt up to the center. If you have questions please IM me and I'll leave a contact number so I can explain better then typing. I ended up putting this on ebay since there were no buyers here. It has a few days left. Moderator please close this thread. Thanks.
