Default WTB: used LSD for '12 IS 250

hey guys I'm looking for anyone who's got a used LSD either from an IS 300 or 250, I am willing to pay for shipping if the price is right. Thanks!

Did you check LKQ? I bought my LSD from LKQ for about $350

I've actually never heard of LKQ before but I just searched it up. What category would it be under (is it under carrier assembly?) and is it lock or no lock? Thanks a lot!

I was told that the LKQ was actually identical to a welded differential and that it wasn't the same as a LSD.

Mine was a locking carrier assembly with 3.73 gear ratio.

And you have had no driving problems and no excessive tire wear?

No problems. The only extra tire wear I have is from being able to accelerate harder and sooner out of corners.

that's really weird, I was told that the inner wheel would chirp when trying to park in a space etc etc. I'll think about it. thanks.

The factory LSD (M85) is a torque sensing differential. It is not a locked differential that will scrub the inside tire while parking. It only engages both wheels when you get on the power. I can hear the inside wheel scratching for traction while accelerating out of slow corners.

Does the automatic locking differential ever disengage such as when you let off the gas? I did some more research last night and saw that some automatic locking differentials do in fact disengage when you let off the gas (they weren't talking about a limited slip).
