Found perfect phone charger to go under armrest
Over the last few days I have been looking for swivel-head car charger for my phone that will fit into the center console with the armrest down.
Today I found the perfect item at Target for $9.99 by a company called Wireless Gear: their "Retractable Rapid Car Charger". Not only is it swivel head (and fits perfectly) but it has a retractable cable (0"-40") and different end connectors for many different phones. The one I got (Model 3RC4209) has 3 connectors in the box for all Motorola, Blackberry and Nextel phones and was all black with a blue LED when charging. Wireless Gear also had other chargers for all Samsung phones, all LG phones etc.
I have a Blackberry 7130e with a mini-USB connection for charging. My wife has a Motorola RAZR also with a mini-USB connection for charging. But somehow these connections are different and the default AC charger for one device cannot charge the other. The mini-USB connector on the Wireless Gear charger works with both perfectly - something the 'experts at Radioshack' told me would be impossible.

Got a website for these guys? I'd love to get a low profile charger for my Treo.

Here's what I use:
I picked these up at Target for $12.99 a piece, although I've also seen them at BestBuy and other big box retailers (for $19.99). It's solidly built, fits perfectly under the armrest (it even has some clearance to spare), and has an LED light when when plugged in. The one I got for my Treo even comes with three adapters: one for a Treo, one for a BlackBerry, and another one that charges any device that uses a mini-USB plug. Here's some pics:
Bends up to 90 degrees:
Can't really see the LED because of the flash...
Center console lid laying flat...
Clearance under the lid:

Thanks for the pics Javier
Thanks for the info to the OP
what is everyone doing to pass the wire threw when its closed. This is one thing I wished they had though of to have a pass threw for the wire, both the charger and for the aux...All of my past cars and including my wifes TSX have this. I know you can keep the phone in the compartment but for us that have email for work to the phone that just doesn't work. I need the phone to be visible for this reason. I had thought about running a wire threw some where?
