Your 20's must be very heavy for you to notice such a big difference...........

Any idea what your wheels/tires weigh?

Honestly, my wheels are very light! CA-05s are not chrome "dipped" where the 3 step process is applied. These wheels use a Japanese process where the chrome is actually painted on the wheel. Also they are only chrome on the face, not the inner barrel, etc etc. I just put my wheels on for the first time yesterday and noticed a gearing difference, and when your a **** guy like me all changes seem major. Another person with 20s can chime in here to relay their initial reaction to mounting the large wheels!

I have not had a change to weigh them, but I picked them up as they were being mounted, and I'll tell ya, they felt like feathers!! I'm gonna weigh them vs my stocks.

The reason I feel a big diff is the reason the shorter gearing of the RMM is a plus. When you increase your wheel size by 4 inches, you actually change your final drive ratio to a taller one! This changes your gearing, and makes it more relaxed (slower acceleration, higher top speed). The RMM would make my car feel like stock again, and also give me limited slip!!

Thats why I said for those that have 19s and 20s its perfect because we would not have to worry about bumping the rev limiter, as those with 16s and 17s would.

That's pretty good weight. Dronell CA-05 with 245/35/20 tire weights 58lb each.
The stock 16's with 225/50/16 weight 45lb each. My previous set of RH C5 18's with 275/40/18 weight 56lb.
