Buy for the looks. Buy for the sound. Buy because it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Don't buy if you are expecting to actually feel an increase in HP. The K&N dyno sheet shows a small, less than 10HP gain, across the RPM range. Interestingly enough, the dyno sheet starts at about 4000 RPM, so who knows what happens below that range. I have the K&N FIPK installed and I'm happy with it for the reasons mentioned.
