By the time you send it back and everything, it would probably be more than the $700 group buy price that happened...somebody with a 430 should hop on this..

 

well it has nothing to do with gs430 or gs400, pi recommends 2800 for both. i think the previous owner who got this 2500 unit was weird.

anyway i got the info from dave's post about changing the stall speed:

So basically, "if" you get the stall speed changed, you get the TC close to the group buy price.........which the GB isn't available anymore.

$225 + shipping both ways($40-80 total depending on where you live) = $265-305

Lets say $450 shipped from me.

$450 + $265-305 = $715-755

But, has anyone checked? Could a local tranny shop do the stall speed change? Could be cheaper and no shipping charges.

 

Not a bad price at all and worthy to someone with FI. I am already committed to another deal here on CL and though the TC is free, I am footing the bill for the R&R of the old one which is costing me more than this price plus I may have to change the stall. But as I committed I am not going to renege on a gentlemen’s agreement. Best of luck on yours. If the current transaction falls through, then I will jump on this one.

If this will not cause CEL in my 03 GS430 then I probably buy it from you. Can someone help me with this issue? I want to absolutely make sure that it will not cause any problems. I read many things about CEL on 430s with TC.
