WTB: 1st gen GS300 trunk latch
#3
Not many people on here have the 1st gen GS, and of those that do, I doubt any are going to have a spare trunk latch.
Is that what you need to replace when your trunk latch in the cabin stops working? I can unlock my trunk with the key but that's it.
Anyway, I would get in contact with SUPRATRD via PM. He works at Carson Toyota (one of the sponsors here) and they have the best prices from my personal experience.

thanks for the post pianoman. What happened was, when i bought this car, it had been rear ended and fixed. I wasnt made aware of this until driving it home, i noticed the trunk lid was moving up and down. I look at the latch, it looks like the rockeater was chewing on it, then they bent it back so it would close. but, its all dicked up and the trunk unlocks with pressure on the right side of the lid, or when driving. hence the need for a new one. I figured maybe someone had a parts GS or access to wrecked ones...oh well..i ended up finding one on ebay for 55 shipped....
