The PLP Intake works great...I actually used it with the TRD filter...IMO the response was much better.

 

Everything is still available...prices negotiable.

I installed it myself...very simple install. I have had it on the car for probably 10,000 miles. The intake is machined aluminum so there is no wear on it...just clean it. All you need is a filter (TRD, PLP, Tom's, K&N, etc...) and your good to go.

Check it out at L-Tuned parts or Prolex Performance...fits all years GS300. Let me know quickly if you want it beacuse I may have another buyer...last deal fell out since the person is upgrading to a GS430. Shoot me a PM or e-mail me.

pm'd you regarding the intake. will this fit 98-00 gs 300's?

 

You'll have to call Mike at PLP. When he put mine on to test (98 GS300), he had to do some minor adjustments but I can't remember what they were.

 

On their website it states that it will work...I really don't know what kind of adjustments can be made to the intake itself since it's metal (mandrel bent aluminum)...it's probably the air breather valve and adding a "T" connector or ??? I doubt it was an issue with the fit of the elbow intake.

 

Yup. Nothing major. I think it states it will work since Mike did the test on my car so he knows. Before that , it was not "ready:" for the 98-00. Anyone buying the intake could buy (from PLP or somewhere else) the extra pieces needed. Just call PLP for the details.
