Do you know roughly what it costs to have the kit installed? Do you have to have a race prepped tranny with this kit? Do you have any idea of what the car should or does run in the quarter mile?

The cost can vary in extreme amounts from shop to shop, so I wouldnt even try to quote you on that. You do not need to build your motor or tranny to run this set up....although you can if you want to run higher boost. It came off my car with a stock motor and tranny.....should be well into the 400's to the rear wheel if tuned properly.

damn, i had the privelage to sit in a TT GS400 (similar set up if not same to this one) in Mariusz's car and what a ride!!!... i swear, when he pressed on the gas (and not even to full potential), my head was glued into the seat... this set up, for this price makes me wonna just go buy a GS400 to have it put in just to play with, i cant believe no one wants to buy this for their car granted $5k is not exactly chump change, but well worth this set up. TTurbopimp, u ever consider eBay?? its only a thought... if only i had a GS400

 

Yep...its basically the same set up as Mariusz's car....but mine has the ceramic ball bearing turbo's, larger intercooler, and slightly different IC pipe pathing.

 

But Mariusz also had engine and tranny work too right? I mean Mariusz setup was not just this same TT setup correct?

 

The TT set up itself is the same......when you talk about engine and tranny work, you are not talking about the TT set up.....your talking about the supporting cast to enable you to push the TT kit to its full potential. You do not need to build the motor and tranny t orun the TT, you do need to build it if you want to run above 8lbs of boost.

 

So approximately how much HP does this setup put down at the rear wheels at 8lbs of boost (ie., without doing the engine and tranny work).

And how reliable will your car be assuming you keep it at this boost level and don't do the extra engine and tranny mods? Just curious, Jeff!

 

low 400's rwhp @ 8.5lbs of boost.........ran on stock tranny and engine for over a year......no issues at all....its safe at taht boost.

 

So assuming it is at say 400RWHP, this means the engine is putting out about 480 HP. Very cool indeed!

What is the torque figure (and at what rpm) like with this setup?
