As far as I know, there are only two major releases... the intial one they did and the Race ECU. Yours stamped as Race ECU should be the latest and greatest

You could also just buy the filter brand new from AFE for about $40.00. but they don't come in red anymore only blue. Worked out better for me but most people want it to be red cus it matches the intake's red cups...good luck with the sale...afefilters.com if anyone is interested..

question for those in the know...

does that box actually effectively quiet down the intake at all? and if so by about how much...i wish this damn inatke wasnt so loud from all the reviews i read

Its not loud at all at normal driving you really really have to mash on it for the intake to sing. When i mean Mash I mean you dont care how loud the car is when your mashing. To give you an idea my dad takes my GS when he takes my lil bro to school he hasnt noticed it since I installed it. About a month now
