Dude, if it is not a money thing I would sport em. My biggest concern has been them falling off but I have been though rain and had no issues with them, just have to make sure and get the wax off before putting them on.

Those things wont come off. If you are worried, put some extra glue on them. I have mine in 110 degree weather and the rain and cold and no problems what so ever.
