I wish they made an S or T trim vortech for the GS4 (starting to drool just thinking about it) as i'd purchase that in a heartbeat. Seems most foreign cars don't make very much hp, IMO, just adding s/c's. It's like they need to do some major modding to get to some descent rwhp levels. The hp to $ ratio is too steep for me to mod that seriously. I'm planning on upgrading exhaust and not too much more than that. That alone is at least $500.00 as i want the L-tuned exhaust as it sounds as close to my 5.0 exhaust with 2-chamber Flows.
As far as sticker shock for mods, i saw that when i first starting researching the car prior to purchasing my white beauty. I just couldn't believe the price for everything...it seems like when you say "I have a Lexus that needs <insert item here>" they automatically raise the prices. Perfect example, i called my local Lexus dealer for an oil change and they quoted me $45. They told me they'd check everything on the car and fill some basic fluids for that price. I then called my Toyota dealer, which is closer to my house, and they did the same service for $24.95 ($19.95 w/coupon which i couldn't print out due to being out of toner <damnit>). The Lexus dealer had a 3 hour wait and the Toyota dealer guaranteed it would be out in 30 minutes w/o waiting or the oil change would be free.

david1969, i agree.. but thats how things work. your buy a shirt that has a famous logo and its easily double the price of the same shirt was made from the same factory which has no logos..
but maybe spending the extra $25 at lexus dealerships gives you a peice of mind your car was touched by lexus workers. iono hah..
man.. i wouldnt mind 400 ponies under my foot.. good luck with the sale ryno.

supercharger
I still think if you buy the whole car you are getting an incredible deal. Basically he is throwing in the car for $10k more than he is asking for the supercharger. Good deal in my book.

As one of the members who has a RMM SC on my car I gotta tell you those extra ponies are a whole lot of fun.
You guys who are getting on him about the price. He in all likehood has spent that much and would like to get his investment back. You can say he is asking to much but you don't have to buy it. He does have a lot of add on stuff that did not come with the kit. As far as the tuning that is really only a feature if you buy the car.
If you think the price is to high make him an offer. If I was looking for a GS400 I'd buy his in a heartbeat.

Thanks Iven.
I am still trying to work on the paperwork... I know you all know allot about these car so im not trying to rip any of you off here. I really paid that price for everything that im going to sell you. Heck, I paid well over my asking price for everything. But if you don’t think is worth that then make me an offer. I did spend allot on the charger but I would never think twice about doing it again.
Like Iven said the whole car is still available. I have allot more money in the car than just a supercharger. I would love to sell the whole car but no one has been interested so someone make an offer.

Getting SC to pass Smog
I've heard that it is possible because of the system that California uses.
You go to a friendly exam place and put a little under the table,
and presto the SC passes.
It helps to know the exam people.
How did Pearlpower get his to pass?
