Automatic Supras can build boost off the line and they can keep the gas pedal to the floor when shifting. Plus, they are extremely consistent, which is why the automatics are the preferred choice for drag racing and street confrontations. The 6 sp counterpart would require the installation of a 2 step rev-limiter type of device to build boost off line.

I agree about the Autos. You can torque-brake and build boost off the line and swift into boost. Thats why I am still considering it. But the main reason is that I miss my old 6spd TT and aim for a lot of HP again, so the manual would make it easier. Regardless...Rudy, I am emailing you.

Yups, had the center bars cut out from both. Custom job done for me by a friend at RMM. I did it on the bumper becuase I was planning to put the front mount intercooler on it when I turboed it.....well..unfortunately...I dont have the time anymore therefore...I am selling the car now...theres a full listing in the classifieds...

The Supra Auto tranny can take about 550HP stock and more with mods so i dont think you have to worry about the tranny, i know the stock 6 speed can take mega HP but the auto isn't bad by any means.

Will, You gotta be regretting getting rid of your first Supra, the red one. That was a hell of a deal for whoever scooped it up. I started my search for my first one about two weeks after you sold that car, timing is everything. I thought I read awile ago on Supraforums that you picked up another TT and sold that GS. WHen I was looking for a GS, I was wondering if you had that one for sale still. I could have picked that up and threw a turbo on it. Damn, once again, timing is everything.

Haha, yeah I did regret selling the red Supra a bit early in the game. But it was fun as hell when I did have it.

You are right that I did pick up another TT and sold the Silver GS400 and the Blue GS300. The Supra was a white 97 6spd. But yes..again..I got bored of the Supra and got another GS300. I have big plans for this car and have started some of it..hope to update you with good news soon!
