if someone could verify that the FSTB would fit a GS430 w/out removing the engine cover i will buy it!

Nope....won't fit.
Your best bet is the Carson/Carbing fstb. Tein fstb fits as well...but some minor mod is required. Do a search....there was a thread on this very subject.
