well i actually separated my ashtray yesterday into 2 pieces u can combine the wood one with yours by removing the guts....

I did mine a long time ago.. I combined the wood with the grayfor a diferent look combination. It is very easy.... I just swapped the whole ashtray from the trim, instead of just the cover... By doing this, you don't have to mess with the moving parts if you are scared to screw it up. Now I want an OEM mint ashtray(non wood), if anyone has one to sell!!!
