It did set off a cel you would need a safc or a neo.

I have a Weapon R intake in my 2000 gs3 and i got no CEL.

I have heard from other people with the same car that they had no problems.

If you set off the CEL you just need to have it reset. The only intake for the Lexus models that needs a SAFC or NEO is the SRT Intake due to the size. The GS ECU will self learn with this installed. You can go to any local AutoZone or similar to have the CEL reset.
