Sportdesign Grill Group Buy - Interest?

What do you mean by "regular" grill? There are 2 "regular" grills. The ones from the 98 - 2000 GS and the ones from 2001 - 2002 GS.
Since you have a 98 GS, you can look at your grill and see thin black slats. The 2001 and up ones have "beefier" slats plus some complementing ones in between. I have attached a pic of fasthuh's Sportdesign grill. You can see what I mean in terms of slats. The difference between the 2001 - 2002 grills and the Sportdesign grill is the chrome on the "main" slats. The complementing ones on the side stays black.
I am sorry if the explanation is lacking. I actually did not know there was a difference until I looked at my 98 grill.

Hi guys,
So far I am counting:
1. Neo (me)
2. a1lexus (?)
3. eppan (depends on timing)
4. M1LEXUS
5. lexasgs400
We are going to need a few more bodies before I approach Steve with the final count. Other than eppan, is there a timing issue for the rest of you? Do you want it ASAP? I know that 10056753 needed the grill ASAP since he had insurance repair to be done on his ride. If not ASAP, how long do you want to/can you wait? I just need to know how to coordinate this so that
1. this will happen and
2. you guys are happy about it.
Is there anyone else?

Didn't you just get the RMM grill?Anyway, this is the Lexus Sportdesign grill. It should be $149 + tax (depending where you are) + shipping (also depending if you are picking up or shipping).

Steve,
It is already chromed to the extent of the close-up picture above. This means that the whole grill is NOT chromed; just the longer slats that touches the top and bottom. To me, it is better than having the whole grill chromed. It leaves a little contrast.
