I haven't had my GS very long, and consequently not familiar with the aftermarket grills. A couple of questions. Will it fit an 04? What is it made of? Could it be chromed?

It will fit any GS between 1998 - 2005 so yes it will fit the 04.

It is made of polyurethane, the same material that your bumpers are made out of.

This makes it prone to not getting damaged or dinged unlike some of the
fiberglass grills that are being sold.

There is a high quality aluminim mesh and the Lexus badge is already installed as well.

It mounts using the same mounting points as the factory grill.

As far as chroming the entire grilll it can be done with no problem.

I have seen some people even use that chrome spray paint.

I have seen one before that had some chrome molding put on the grill (looked nice actually)

You can buy those molding at any autoparts stores and they just stick on with 3M automotive tape which is normally included.

Let me know on the grill as I think I sold everything on the list or sale is pending.

Coil overs were pending but buyer had car issues he needs to fix first so no longer holding the part for him.

Lowered the price if I can sell them by this Saturday.

These are Version 2 CS and are practically new with less than 10K miles on them.
