Had this custom made by a very reputable local alternator shop , it is made from a brand new alternator that I bought vs. others that are rebuilt , never got around to using it.

at what rpm is max amps achieved? What is amperage at idle?

 

Sounds nice. Might help the ad if you have a pic and state if you have receipts available. Also, for people who are not as knowledgeable, what you would use this for.

I would be interested to see what type of connection lugs are being used to carry 250A. Did you also have them supply you with wiring, I think you would need something like #00 gauge welding cable to carry that much current.

 

The pulley is slightly smaller to provide 100a at idle , max current @ 1500rpm , I had the papers but can't find them - sorry.

 

If you think your system will draw 250A continuously then yes you would need a 1/0 Ga. power wire , very easy to make.

 

I am quite sure that those who are interested in this will know exactly what it is for , if not they will not be looking.

 

People might look just to see what cool thing they could do with this. And then decide to do it.
