I'm not saying you didn't read the entire thread, but I did stated that this came off from the same front clip that its steering rack had an e-shift steering wheel (don't believe pre-01' V300 Aristo had e-shift); while it's possible that the post-01' might still not work either:

And if it still doesn't work in this case to be imcompatiable with the USDM ECU/harness, then it should work in the case with those that have done the GTE swap regardless.
